Verticalmag.com, the companion website to Vertical magazine, has been completely overhauled and relaunched, and will be the go-to source for up-to-the minute industry news during HAI Heli-Expo 2017.

“We discovered through research that as many as 50 percent of our online readers were accessing our website on mobile devices at any given time,” said Mike Reyno, co-owner and co-publisher of Vertical magazine.

“With that in mind, we knew we needed to rethink our delivery model to provide those readers with our informative, industry-leading content in the most efficient way possible.”

Verticalmag.com now loads twice as fast as its predecessor website and offers completely secure browsing and enhanced search capability.

The website’s clean, engaging design provides a better reading experience and is easy to scan, helping readers access and consume the latest industry news quickly and efficiently.

“At Vertical, we are constantly evolving to meet our readers’ needs,” said Reyno. “Our new website is the latest example of that, but we have much more in store.”

Vertical also recently launched content on two exciting new publishing platforms: Facebook Instant Articles and Apple News. Both platforms are optimized for ultra-fast loading on mobile devices.

Facebook Instant Articles can be accessed through the Vertical Facebook page by clicking the lightning bolts that appear next to certain posts.

Apple News is available to iOS users in the United States and United Kingdom, and can be accessed through a pre-installed app on Apple mobile devices.

There are plans to make Vertical  content available via Google Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP) in the first quarter of 2017.

Verticalmag.com has a database of more than 21,000 articles, making it the industry’s largest website. It is constantly updated with industry news as it breaks, complementing the in-depth features and investigative reporting Vertical‘s print readers have come to know and respect.

“Along with our enhanced online presence, we’re excited to present the HAI Heli-Expo 2017 edition of Insight magazine,” said Reyno.

“This outstanding, premium-quality publication will be distributed at show hotels and on the show floor, helping companies big and small share their stories at one of the industry’s largest and most important annual gatherings.

“Be sure to pick up your copy of Insight at the show, and keep your phones, tablets and computers locked on www.verticalmag.com for the latest and most comprehensive collection of Heli-Expo news.”

Vertical‘s web team will also publish two editions of Vertical Daily News, its industry-leading email newsletter, every day during Heli-Expo. Visit www.verticalmag.com/subscribe to reserve your free copies.
