Developed specifically for the aviation, space and defense industries, the AS9100 standard was established by the International Aerospace Quality Group (IAQG) for the purpose of achieving significant industry improvements in quality, safety, and customer service, as well as reductions in cost throughout the value stream. AS9100 is globally recognized and incorporates best practices from across the aerospace and defense industry. The latest revision of AS9100, known as Rev.
