Providing custom aerial data transmission and wireless solutions, the CNC team brings decades of experience deploying local, national and global communications network solutions for the world’s most demanding operators.

“We approach each assignment from a bespoke perspective, deploying tailored solutions that deliver uncompromising performance and reliability,” said Alex Giuffrida, one of CNC Technologies’ founders and managing partners.

“To enhance long-term capability, CNC platforms are developed with the future in mind, allowing operators to upgrade to new technologies as they become available without requiring a full system overhaul.”

Having established relationships with all major equipment vendors, CNC is able to develop customized solutions that best match each client’s specific mission profiles.

The company has particular expertise in developing long range, high-definition video and data transmission networks for rotary- and fixed-wing aircraft; solid experience in building encrypted mobile communications tools to share real-time high-definition, infrared images and data streams; and a strong background in creating hardened systems capable of full-time operation in harsh environments.

“Our ongoing interactions with the major helicopter and fixed-wing aircraft manufacturers and completion centers enables us to be involved in our clients’ entire process of mission equipment selection and integration, operational commissioning, personnel training, and first-class service and support,” said Ron Magocsi, another one of CNC Technologies’ founders, a managing partner, and the firm’s chief technology officer. “We are there for our clients from start to finish and beyond.”

Along with counterterrorism and aerial surveillance, CNC Technologies’ wireless communications suites support border security, airborne patrol, search-and-rescue, drug interdiction, public safety, and disaster response operations.

The company customizes its products to meet its clients’ diversity of operational requirements, supported by airborne capabilities such as streaming of live high-definition and infrared video, plus data transmission from helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft directly to fixed ground receive sites, mobile command vehicles, patrol cars, and handheld receivers.

“We specialize in transmission of live video and data through IT networks to emergency operations centers, cellular phones, and tablets as required by our clients,” said Giuffrida.

An efficient and productive mission suite is built upon a combination of various technologies that help get the job done whether the missions are on the ground, in the air, or on water. It is also flexible, which is why CNC creates each mission suite to be optimized to each customer’s specific requirements and needs.

“To aid in the configuration process, we arrange on-site mission equipment demonstrations with the latest technology available so that potential customers can make informed equipment selections and maximize the return on their investment,” said Keith Haney, CNC’s director of law enforcement sales.

“We do this for our clients whether they are upgrading their current capabilities or acquiring microwave downlink capability for the first time.”

That’s not all: CNC Technologies provides clients with comprehensive and ongoing training, offered at their facilities with their own equipment to maximize the training’s effectiveness. Such programs include an in-depth review of all equipment covering system functionality, user interface, and routine maintenance procedures.

“Our technical expertise and real world mission experience is matched by an unparalleled service philosophy,” said Magocsi. “Comprehensive support is just a phone call away with dedicated experts available 24/7, 365 days a year.

“In the event of equipment failure, our technicians are available to provide assistance quickly and efficiently. Our clients are not left alone to search through manuals, wait for manufacturer business hours, or to guess at which piece of equipment is causing the failure.”

As a service center for L-3 WESCAM, FLIR, and other major equipment vendors, CNC has the knowledge, experience, and ability to complete major repairs and the company also has most commonly replaced parts on the shelf at facilities in Los Angeles and New Jersey, which greatly minimizes repair turnaround time.

When mission equipment must be returned to the manufacturer for repair or upgrade, CNC handles the process for its customers. Warranty repair work and part replacement conducted by CNC Technologies is covered under the terms of the manufacturer’s warranty.

The flexibility, reliability, and consistent performance of CNC Technologies’ aerial wireless communications platforms has won widespread respect not just among users, but rotary- and fixed-wing original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) as well. The company’s client list includes Airbus Helicopters, Bell Helicopter, the Massachusetts State Police, the Los Angeles Police Department, the New York Police Department, Patria Helicopters, Pilatus, and the Swedish Police Authority, among others. Haney highlighted one partnership in particular, saying his company is honored to be newly in contract with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE).

Under the contract, CNC will design, integrate, and support a mission suite for live streaming video and data from FDLE’s King Air 350 multi-engine airplane during statewide responses to assist federal, state, and local agencies during natural disasters, counter-terrorism efforts, and criminal investigations.

“The bottom line: CNC Technologies is a proven, reliable source of aerial wireless communications solutions and support,” said Alex Giuffrida. “We are there for you, every step of the way.”
