Vertical‘s 2019 Helicopter and Engine Manufacturers Survey is now open and accepting responses through April 18.
The survey is open to anyone in the global civil helicopter industry who has actively operated, flown, or maintained helicopters or helicopter engines in the past two years. Respondents will be asked to evaluate relevant original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) on the quality of their products and aftermarket services.
Now in its fifth year, Vertical‘s Helicopter Manufacturers Survey provides the industry’s most comprehensive picture of how the major airframe manufacturers are performing when it comes to customer support.
Even more importantly, manufacturers are using the results of the survey to improve their products and services. Last year, Bell reversed an unpopular parts distribution policy after survey respondents complained about it.
“When we launched our survey, we wanted to provide honest feedback to OEMs on how they could serve their customers better,” said Vertical publisher Mike Reyno. “We’re tremendously proud that our survey is having a positive impact on the industry — but to keep it up, we need our readers to continue to share their valuable insights.”
This year is the second time that the survey is being combined with Vertical‘s Helicopter Engine Survey, providing respondents with the option of evaluating airframes, engines, or both.
“We had a tremendous response to the combined survey last year, and want to continue making it easy for readers to share all of their feedback in one place,” said Reyno.
Once again, the survey is being conducted by PMG Intelligence, an independent market research and data analysis consulting company based in Waterloo, Ontario. All survey data will be kept completely anonymous, and respondents won’t be contacted by Vertical without their express permission.
