SWFS announces facility relocation and expansion

M International Press Release | February 19, 2019

Estimated reading time 1 minute, 27 seconds.

Southwest Fuel Systems (SWFS) has announced the relocation of its engine accessory maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) facility into a newly renovated and expanded location alongside sister company MINT Turbines, LLC — both now located at 2915 North State Highway 99, Stroud, Oklahoma.

Ralph Bishop, president of SWFS, stated, “Approximately one year ago it became obvious we’d outgrown our existing 4,000-square-foot facility. A lot of hard work went into the planning, moving and assembling our new facility to obtain our FAA Part 145 Repair Station certificate in record time. This process is a testament to the dedication of our employees and their efforts to relocate and reopen our facility with no interruption in services.”

“As a Triumph authorized T53 Fuel Control Unit and Governor MRO facility plus authorized distributor for the Hammonds brand of jet fuel additives including LUBRIBOR, we’re now approved to also repair/overhaul/exchange Rolls-Royce M250 series Fuel Pumps,” Bishop added. “This additional capability drives our ongoing quest to reduce accessory service costs while bringing our expertise closer to the customer.”

The full capabilities of SWFS will be on display during the 2019 Heli-Expo International Convention in Atlanta, Georgia, at booth C4033.

Over the next few months, SWFS will be announcing additional accessory overhaul capabilities that will complement the company’s existing product offerings as we further expand into new product lines.
