Southeast Aerospace wins opportunity on $50B SeaPort NxG contract

Southeast Aerospace, a leading Aerospace solutions company, has been awarded the opportunity to provide project management and engineering support services for the U.S. Navy through a new contract vehicle, SeaPort – NxG.

“Southeast Aerospace has provided aircraft modification and engineering support on numerous government contracts and special missions programs,” stated Rob Reed, director of aircraft modifications. “We’re honored to have been selected to support the Navy over the next 10 years. Our in-house capabilities offer a unique subset of services to provide cost effective solutions while maximizing efficiencies.”

The SeaPort NxG contract is an Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite Quantity Multiple Award Contract with a value of $50B for individual task orders across 23 functional areas.

  1. Connected warfare for battlespace awareness. I can see a great need for a fiberoptic backbone to provide an as-needed network for ships pier side. Imagine a network where ships in a battle group can securely coordinate for drills and simulations without radiating. Combat systems teams and C2 can warm up, stretch and flex M-F 0800-1600 with no one the wiser and everyone safer.
