The SAL-7000 provides a solution to interfacing handheld portable radios into an aircraft audio system, which is critical for any operator utilizing portable radios and especially for tactical and inter-agency operations.

This is accomplished by providing a standardized quick disconnect connection to more than 20 different popular handheld radios. Engineered harnesses for Motorola APX, XTS, XPR, SRX, EX, PR and MT models, five-pin NATO and mobile phones. The SAL-7000 was designed specifically to interface portable radios to the new RT-7000 tactical radio from Cobham.

Due to the versatility of the SAL-7000, the solution can be deployed in various environments as a stand-alone solution.

The SAL-7000 weighs 0.38 or 0.47 pounds (depending on configuration) and is a reliable turnkey solution to connect portable radios. Mounting options include Dzus or box mounting.
