The American Helicopter Museum and Education Center (AHMEC) will bring Santa via helicopter and Mrs. Claus to West Chester for its annual SantaFest on Dec. 8, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Santa will land at 11 a.m. to greet girls and boys, hear wish lists and distribute goodie bags; he’ll visit with each one in his colorful workshop in the museum.
The event will also feature special songs by Makin’ Music, a reading of Linda Kerschner’s book, Cheerful Chopper to the Rescue, by the author and volunteers with their dogs from PAWS for People pet therapy services.
Ornament decorating and face painting add to the holiday festivities. And everyone who attends will receive a snack.
Admission is $10.00 per person and includes a photo opportunity with Santa. Helicopter rides cost $60.00 extra per person on a first-come, first-served basis beginning at 11:15 a.m.
See the AHMEC website at http://americanhelicopter.museum/santafest to purchase tickets or for more information.
