Omni Táxi Aéreo will transport Dommo Energia’s passengers to its floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) vessels and rig, at Tubarão Martelo field, located south of Campos Basin, in Brazil.
Six flights per week are expected to be carried out for crew change, using an S-76C++ aircraft model, with the capacity to transport up to 12 passengers. The regular flights will depart from Cabo Frio airport and Omni will also be responsible for Dommo’s medical evacuation coverage, departing from Macaé airport.
This is Omni’s first signed contract in 2018 and according to its CEO, Roberto Coimbra, this year is expected to be positive.
“It’s with great satisfaction that we announce our first 2018 contract, with Dommo Energia,” he said. Through this partnership, we seek to support Dommo’s expansion and growth, that only in 2017 reached the mark of 5,500 oil barrels produced. Therefore, we strengthen Omni’s market share, diversifying our customer portfolio and expect to sign more contracts along this year.”
