Oceania Aviation has announced it has been awarded the sole service center and distributorship for Schweizer RSG within the Asia-Pacific region, making it the area’s only authorized seller of the popular S-300 series.

As the Asia-Pacific service center and distributor, Oceania Aviation will be the authorized seller for all new 300-type aircraft and exclusive parts supplier. In addition, it will be the only approved facility for main and tail rotor gearbox overhaul and repairs.

Oceania Aviation also offers piston engine services, blade repair, and avionics support — and with 10 facilities across New Zealand and 16 specialist divisions, the company looks forward to promoting the S-300 type throughout the Asia-Pacific region.

In early May, Oceania Aviation’s executive team met with Schweizer RSG’s president David Horton, to discuss their history and expertise in supporting the 300-type, as well as how their involvement will benefit the S-300 operators in the area.

“The partnership between Schweizer RSG and Oceania Aviation is very exciting, and we look forward to a long and prosperous relationship,” said Horton, whose own history with the 300-type includes stints as both president and general manager of Schweizer Aircraft. “We chose Oceania for this venture because of their solid and trusted reputation in the industry.”

Oceania’s helicopter component manager Peter Hatley echoed this sentiment: “Based on our longstanding relationship with the Schweizer aircraft and our growing partnership with Schweizer RSG, we look forward to re-establishing brand support for the 269 in this region.”
