Oceania Aviation, one of New Zealand’s leading aviation companies, has announced its collaboration with Swiss Rotor Solutions as an authorized distributor for their H125/AS350 Maximum Pilot View Kit.
The Maximum Pilot View Kit is an FAA, EASA and TCCA approved STC for the Airbus H125/AS350 series, designed to increase safety and pilot comfort. The kit includes a new single-piece window bubble door replacing the AS350 standard door, and a lower floor window, solving the lack of visibility for vertical reference operations.
The modification provides the pilot an uninhibited 350 percent increase in ‘field of view’ below and to the right-hand side of the helicopter with the added value of ample headroom — even when wearing a helmet. It has proven an increase in both operational safety and efficiency and with forty-four kits ordered and sold, it is evident that operators globally are embracing the modification.
This new partnership sees Oceania Aviation as not only the Asia-Pacific authorized distributor, but also the only approved installer in New Zealand and they are excited to add another quality addition to their broad scope of services.
