A new company that specializes in the design and manufacturing of aviation-certified cargo securement products has been launched in Calgary, Alberta.
The company, System7 Aerospace, aims to be the industry leaders and bring both custom and ready-made products to market while building a diverse product line of engineer-certified STC / TSO / PDA products.
Cofounders Ben Crowe and Carson Chanthyvong bring a forward-thinking approach to product development and market positioning. Chanthyvong — current president of Aerotex Interiors, a Calgary-based aviation upholstery company — utilizes his extensive knowledge and family heritage of over 30 years in the aviation industry to bring a well-known expertise and reputation to the table.
Crowe is the founder and president of Quarantine Restraints Ltd., which has established itself as the industry-leader in cargo securement specializing in automobiles and light-duty vehicles. Crowe plays an integral part of changing the safety standards of many international vehicle fleet programs with System7 Aerospace’s premium engineer-certified restraints.
The combined expertise of Chanthyvong and Crowe enables System7 to provide its customers with industry-leading products while maintaining stringent safety standards and certification.
System7’s credentials include TCCA manufacturing authority, manufacturing to TSO standards, engineering and approving STCs for installs, custom manufacturing, and made-to-order restraints.
