Millennium International Avionics has announced Ray Atkisson as the new director of military business development. Atkisson will be responsible for developing service channels and overseeing sales contracts for the military and government flight operation divisions.
“Ray’s extensive knowledge and experience provide an invaluable asset of resources and aviation connections, adding to our long-standing relationships within the military community and technical operation departments,” said Claude T. Peoples, vice president.
Atkisson has over 25 years of aviation experience with previous positions held as director of military business development at Triumph Instruments and Velocity Aerospace. Atkisson has a BS degree in mechanical engineering from Stanford and an MBA from Pacific Western University. He is also a formal naval aviator and current Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) airline transport pilot.
