Meeker-Airfilm have announced they have received a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) supplemental type certificate (STC) for their upgraded AFSP-V2 single and dual pole mount for the AS350/355/H125 series of helicopters.
The AFSP-V2 offers greater ground clearance for payloads and greater rigidity from the double box I-beam design, in addition to the mount joined left and right for very large center payloads.
European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) certification will be obtained in mid 2018.
