M International Inc. has announced that it has been recertified in accordance with the requirements of AS9120A and ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management Standards for the sale and distribution of original equipment manufacturer (OEM) authorized aircraft components and parts, in addition to the performance of supply-chain support for U.S. Defense-related equipment for both domestic- and internationally-based customers.
“AS9120 is the highest certification standard achievable for aviation distributors, and we’ve made significant investment in this area as part of our overall improvement strategy,” said Rob Ruck, president of M International. “AS9120 elevates our quality management system while demonstrating we can deliver quality products and services while expanding our customer base to include global aviation companies. M International’s next goal is to expand from AS9120A to AS9120B certification.”
Standard AS9120 is part of the group of Aviation Standards (AS) that were prepared by the international organization SAE Aerospace under the auspices of IAQG – the umbrella organization of the aviation industry that includes some of the largest companies in the field such as Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Gulfstream and Airbus. Certification in accordance with standard AS9120 combines the requirements for ISO 9001 and additional requirements including legislative and aviation.
