M International has announced its subsidiary Keystone Turbine Services, LLC (KTS) has received Rolls-Royce approval to begin repairing a select part number Outer Combustion Case (OCC) for the C28, C30, C40 and C47 Series gas turbine engines.

“As a Rolls-Royce M250-certified Authorized Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul Center [AMROC], KTS is pleased to offer this critical repair,” said John Fraser, general manager at KTS. “The affected part number is 23030911, and we’re ready to apply our new two-piece reinforcing wire patches to your OCC, which meets the requirements of the new Commercial Engine Bulletin [CEB]. We also offer overhauled exchange OCCs should you require quicker delivery.”

Rolls-Royce just released a new CEB which indicates compliance must be accomplished no later than the next time your engine or turbine module is returned for its next overhaul, or during the next 2,000-hour scheduled inspection, whichever occurs first. The new service bulletin numbers are:

  • Engine model: C28 | CEB number: A-72-2291
  • Engine model: C30 | CEB number: A-72-3305
  • Engine model: C40B | CEB number: A-72-5073
  • Engine model: C47 | CEB number: A-72-6086
  • Engine model: C47E | CEB number: A-72-7003

With over 41 years of continuous experience, KTS is one of the largest certificated AMROCs supporting all variants of the M250 Series engine, modules, accessories and components.

As a member of the Roll-Royce FIRST Network, KTS is an FAA- and EASA-certificated Part 145 Repair Station. It is also a certificated Honeywell Authorized Warranty and Repair Station (AWARS) for overhaul, repair and testing of Rolls-Royce M250, Honeywell LTS-101 and Pratt & Whitney PT6A and PT6T Fuel Controls, Power Turbine Governors and related accessories.

KTS has expanded its state-of-the-art 40,000 square-foot MRO facility with the addition of a second OEM-correlated, all-digital engine test cell plus increased production space of an additional 10,000 square feet.
