HRRA to hold helicopter rescue summit at Heli-Expo

Helicopter Rescue & Response Association Press Release | March 3, 2017

Estimated reading time 1 minute, 29 seconds.

The Helicopter Rescue & Response Association (HRRA) 2017 Helicopter Rescue Summit will be held during HAI’s annual Heli-Expo on Monday, March 6, in room A201 of the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas, Texas.

The rescue summit will include various presentations pertaining to helicopter rescue operations including topics such as short haul, flooding and car rescues, unscheduled landing mitigations, and accident reviews. Lunch will be provided and networking opportunities will exist throughout the day.

The summit will conclude with the annual HRRA membership meeting followed by a social hour.

The rescue summit is for HRRA members. Member agencies are invited to send up to five personnel.  Those who are not members of the HRRA, but are interested in joining the organization and attending the rescue summit can visit the HRRA website at http://helirescueassociation.org/ for more information.

HAI has graciously donated meeting space for this year’s rescue summit. The rescue summit is held every year in conjunction with Heli-Expo and is largely made possible due to the generous support of summit sponsors:

  • Gold sponsors – Axnes, UTC Aerospace Systems, and Breeze-Eastern;
  • Silver sponsor – Zephyr International; and
  • Bronze sponsor – Poseidon Air. Land. Sea.

The HRRA continues to grow in both numbers and interest and remains committed to attracting an international presence to the rescue summit.
