Genesys Aerosystems has announced that its popular visual flight rules (VFR) HeliSAS now integrates with the Garmin G500H TXi.
This new integration brings even more options to those customers looking to upgrade their panel to the latest options on the market while adding or complimenting the safety-focused HeliSAS Helicopter Autopilot and Stability Augmentation System.
HeliSAS is a lightweight system (<15 pounds) that provides safety features and workload reduction benefits of a stability augmentation system (SAS) and an autopilot that were once reserved for larger transport category helicopters.
The new integration does not require any software or hardware update to the HeliSAS system. The change comes in the way of a wiring configuration diagram that is available to all Genesys Aerosystem HeliSAS dealers.
