Heliproducts Industries Ltd. has announced the addition of Paul Cockell to its team as chief executive officer.
Cockell will take the helm as CEO of Heliproducts as of Feb. 3, 2020. He will be responsible for working with the team to deliver on the plans Heliproducts has been discussing over the past several months – to establish Heliproducts as the premier light helicopter support, sales, repair and lease company.
Cockell brings 38 years of aeronautics experience and 22 years of hands-on management to his new Heliproducts CEO role; he has strong leadership skills and a proven track record. He previously held leadership positions at Vector Aerospace Helicopter Services North America (president), MTU Maintenance Canada (director of production) and Rolls Royce Canada (production manager). Cockell was also a past board member for Airbus Canada and Vector Aerospace Inc.
“His extensive industry experience will help us grow our current business model which focuses on Airbus light helicopters, Airbus components and Safran Arriel engines,” said Ken Wilby and Mark Steen, owners of Heliproducts.
Founded in 2001, Heliproducts Industries is a Vancouver-based Transport Canada, FAA 135 MIP, and EASA 145.7216 approved AMO 83-05 specializing in helicopter sales, MRO support, and leasing worldwide.
