Heli-One, a leading provider of helicopter maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services, is pleased to announce the launch of their online modifications catalogue. This online resource showcases the deep capability of the MRO’s two design teams with modifications ranging from small equipment adjustments to major display upgrades. Users can look for modifications using the search feature or by browsing by aircraft type, mission purpose or ATA chapter code. Operators, maintenance staff, design engineers and aviation enthusiasts will find a wide range of modifications that are designed to expand an aircraft’s operational capability without sacrificing standards in safety and quality.
The online catalogue is an advanced version of the previous reference resource, including greater interactivity and search capabilities. Users can quickly search the database for keywords including aircraft type or modification purpose. Each modification has a unique web address which allows for colleagues to quickly share and forward details.

Each modification features a description, picture, approval jurisdiction, weight, installation time, and aircraft types it is certified for. Users can email the modification link to others and can quickly and efficiently reach out to the Heli-One team for more information. Modifications will be added as they are approved, with additional functionality to the catalogue to grow over time.
“We are excited to share this great resource with the rotor-craft industry,” said Eddie Lane, president, Heli-One. “Our design teams have become more innovative, developing custom solutions for operators to maximize the use of their aircraft and improve their mission performance. Our engineers have the highest regard for safety, quality, and efficiency and that has shown in the truly diverse range of modifications in our portfolio.”
Heli-One has developed hundreds of solutions ranging from major and minor modifications to unique component repairs. The design team in Norway is an EASA Part 21J Design Approval Organization and the team in Canada is a Transport Canada Approved Design Approval Organization. Between these teams and other satellite design teams, Heli-One can design and certify a wide array of helicopter modifications certifiable in practically any airworthiness jurisdiction in the world including EASA, Canada and the United States. Heli-One Norway also has an EASA-approved Category 1 Flight Test Organization to complement their engineering and design capabilities.
