Helicopter Association International (HAI) has announced the hiring of Anuja Miner as director of membership.
“We are excited that Anuja has joined the HAI team,” said Matthew Zuccaro, president and CEO of HAI. “Her previous association management and membership experience will assist HAI in the expansion and enhancement of member services. Anuja will be on site at HAI Heli-Expo 2018 in Las Vegas to meet our members first hand.”
“I am pleased and excited to join HAI and help build its vibrant community of helicopter owners and operators, UAS owners and operators, manufacturers, and suppliers,” said Miner. “It is very exciting to help provide our members with the opportunity to become more involved in the issues affecting our industry and assist them in educating lawmakers and others about our efforts to operate safely and effectively.”
Miner will also be involved in HAI’s membership study this year that will focus on determining the issues that are critical to the industry, for both members and nonmembers alike.
“There is an untapped part of our industry that we intend to build a strong relationship with,” she added. “That is another important area of focus for 2018. I am pleased to be a part of this growing and exciting industry that, literally, is taking off. The sky, as they say, really is the limit!”
Before joining HAI, Miner, a graduate of the University of Michigan, served as executive vice president of the Council of State Restaurant Associations (CSRA), vice president of membership for the National Milk Producers Federation, and as executive director of the American Butter Institute. She lives in Alexandria, Virginia, where HAI’s headquarters is based.
