FlightSafety Unmanned Systems Training announces new director of sales

FlightSafety International has announced that Daniel Greenhill has joined FlightSafety Unmanned Systems Training as director of sales.

Greenhill began his career with FlightSafety in 2004 and has held a number of positions with increasing responsibility since then. They include product marketing manager; Piper Cheyenne I, II and IIXL flight instructor; assistant director of training; director of training; center manager; director of business development; director of instructor recruiting; and most recently director of sales for Gulfstream training programs.

He earned an associate’s degree in business management from Triton College, a bachelor of science degree in marketing from Northeastern Illinois University, and a master’s degree in people and project management from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management. He also received a certificate of business management in international business from Wolfson College in the United Kingdom.

Greenhill is an instrument rated commercial pilot with commercial single engine and multi instrument ratings, is a certified flight instructor, and holds a remote part 107 pilot certificate.

FlightSafety’s Unmanned Systems Training program is designed to help commercial operators achieve the highest levels of safety and proficiency. The training is offered in the Las Vegas area and at several FlightSafety Learning Centers in the United States. Unmanned Aircraft Systems practical flight training is delivered in conjunction with Praxis Aerospace Concepts at the FlightSafety Las Vegas UAS Learning Center which has operations in Henderson and at Searchlight Airfield.

FlightSafety also offers several eLearning courses including a 107 Written Test Preparation course, Resource Management for UAS Operations, Fatigue Management for UAS Operations, Safety Management System (SMS) for UAS Operations and a newly specialized Flight Risk Assessment Tool which is available through the FlightSafety FlightBag App.
