Boeing Phantom Works has chosen FDC/aerofilter to supply the Inlet Barrier Filtration System (IBF) for the turbine engine powered version of the A160 Hummingbird rotorcraft, adding to FDC/aerofilter’s line of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) IBF systems. The A160 is a high altitude, long endurance UAV. Land based and shipboard operations have dictated the need for high efficiency / high flow engine protection to maintain the highest level of power availability.
