Esterline Avionics Systems and Esterline Simulation Visual Systems are promoting their advanced displays and CMC Electronics brand integrated helicopter solutions as well as their best-in-class Treality visualization systems at this year’s Singapore Airshow in Booth #U88.
On show for the first time at Singapore are Esterline’s helicopter demonstrator featuring an extensive range of the company’s core avionics capabilities as well as the Treality TD-522 helicopter simulator transportable dome.
“Our integrated helicopter solutions are highly flexible, allowing for multiple levels of modernization, from a minor upgrade to a full avionics suite,” said Michel Potvin, president, Esterline Avionics Systems. “Our goal is to optimize situational awareness for our commercial and military customers and ensure their mission success.”
The core of Esterline’s integrated helicopter solutions includes Smart Multi-Function Displays (SMFD); Flight Management Systems (FMS); Aircraft Information Servers (AIS); Global Positioning System (GPS) sensors and Doppler Velocity Sensors (DVS); mission computers; and a wide range of high-quality display products.
Esterline’s integrated helicopter solutions are scalable and flexible, and suitable for modular retrofits and advanced forward-fit applications. The helicopter demonstrator showcases these intuitive features for helicopter operators.

The TD-Series of high-quality transportable dome displays for the training and simulation market features a stunning visualization system that is cost-effective, compact and easy to deploy. The TD-Series is available in configurations with three or five specialized projectors, all with a diameter of 7.5 feet (2.3 meters). This allows users to select the system that best suits their needs in terms of field of view (both horizontal and vertical), and resolution.
