Entrol’s H39 simulator has been certified as FNPT II MCC by ENAC for Heli Protection Europe (HPE), one of the most important helicopter schools in Europe.
This simulator is based on the popular Leonardo AW139, a helicopter frequently used for search-and-rescue, emergency medical services, offshore and law enforcement in many countries.
The simulator’s cockpit is a replica of a Honeywell Primus 1000 avionics and it is equipped with dual FMS, WX-radar, ACAS II and a generic moving map.
Luis Olarte, Entrol´s CEO, said: “We are pleased that the H39 simulator has been certified and can now be officially used for training. It will allow AW139 operators to provide additional training like emergency procedures or SAR operation at a reasonable price.”
“We worked very hard on the development to make it as real as possible. Everything has been manufactured with our in-house technology and we performed flight tests on a real AW139 to develop the flight model. This mean for our customers an easier maintenance with no third party involved.”
The simulator has been also certified for LNAV, LNAV/VNAV and LPV.
