Donaldson Aerospace & Defense, a division of Donaldson Company, Inc.. has commemorated delivery of its 9,000th inlet barrier filter (IBF) in a special ceremony at HAI Heli-Expo 2018 with Robinson Helicopter Company president and chairman Kurt Robinson. During the event, Robinson symbolically accepted delivery of the 9,000th filter, an R66 IBF, from Tom Newman, engineering manager, Donaldson Aerospace & Defense.

“This delivery is the culmination of years of hard work by an intensely dedicated and talented team,” Newman said. “All of us at Donaldson are proud of this important milestone and pleased to share this moment with Kurt and Robinson Helicopter Company.”

“Robinson is pleased to participate in this ceremony with our friends at Donaldson Aerospace & Defense,” Robinson said. “We are proud to offer superior IBF engine protection to R66 operators everywhere.”

R66 IBF certification was announced in February 2017. The system is available as a factory option from Robinson, authorized Robinson Service Centers or Donaldson.
