DART’s emergency flotation system for the Bell 412 helicopter has recently been certified through Transport Canada, Civil Aviation Directorate (TCCA), the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) for the new increased gross weight (IGW) upgrade to 12,200 pounds.
DART has focused much of its energy throughout the years into developing emergency flotation systems that can cater to a wide range of platforms, including their capability upgrades.
This emergency flotation system has become the industry standard for 412 operators due to its longer maintenance intervals and the improved safety and weight reduction of its integrated life raft.
