“Adding this product is something we are very excited about,” said Dallas Avionics’ vice president of sales, Scott Davis. “The RockAir has all the features including cellular messaging, satellite messaging, GPS tracking, and Bluetooth pairing that our customers need to have. The cost of $1,795 makes it extremely affordable.”

The low-profile glare-shield makes it easy for mounting; it is powered via USB or using aircraft power, and is night vision goggle (NVG) compatible and portable.

“We have been looking for the right opportunity to work closely with Dallas Avionics and we are tremendously excited that they will be distributing our new flagship product in North America,” said TracPlus Global chief innovation officer Chris Hinch.

The $1,795 price includes the device, USB cable and mounting cradle. Another model is available for $1,895 which includes the device, USB cable, mounting cradle, and cabling kit, DO160 documentation on USB, two NVG ND filters, and MYGOFLIGHT DualMicro 28v Rapid Charger.
