Cecile Vion-Lanctuit named head of communications and marketing at Marenco Swiss Helicopter

Cecile Vion-Lanctuit has been appointed as Marenco Swiss Helicopter’s (MSH) head of communications and marketing, effective Nov. 1, 2017.

In her new role, Vion-Lanctuit oversees all internal and external communications for MSH and reports to the company’s chief executive officer, Andreas Loewenstein.

In addition to communications, Vion-Lanctuit is also responsible for the marketing activities of MSH in close alignment with the sales, program and engineering departments.

She is based at MSH’s headquarters in Zurich, Switzerland.

MSH specializes in the development, production, global distribution and services of new generation helicopters. Its first model, the turbine helicopter SH09 offers high standards of safety, comfort and performance coupled with low operating costs, and it has generated an outstanding market response.

Prior to this new position, Vion-Lanctuit has been Bombardier Transportation’s vice president of communications for three years. She was in charge of all internal, external and marketing communications for Bombardier’s rail division worldwide, and she was based in Berlin, Germany.

She spent 15 years within the Airbus Group, including eight years at Airbus Helicopters as vice president of corporate communications (four years) and head of international media relations (four years) where she gained an extensive knowledge and experience of the helicopter industry.

Before joining Airbus Helicopters in April 2006, she spent seven years at parent company Airbus Group, where she mainly worked at the Munich headquarters, and she was in charge of the Group’s image. She originally joined the company in Paris as a corporate auditor in late 1999.

Her other career experience includes 10 years in communications and marketing other industries in Canada, where she gained Canadian nationality in addition to her French citizenship.
