United Aero Group, a supplier of aviation spare parts, repair management, consulting, program management, and comprehensive support to both the rotary- and fixed-wing markets, announced that it has joined the BrightWater Aviation group of companies.

Under the new arrangement, United Aero Group will become the logistical nucleus of their aviation group. Co-founders Jamie and Josh Gelder will remain with the company as the president and chief operating officer, respectively. Jamie Gelder said, “This investment provides UAG the ability to expand our services to our global customer base. Our offering of end-to-end supply chain and holistic support is critical to the mission profiles of both our commercial and military customers.”

United Aero Group supports a wide-range of capital intensive projects including distribution of OEM products. The company is actively working with a number of OEMs and expects to make a series of announcements at this year’s HAI Heli-Expo in Anaheim, California.

BrightWater Aviation is led by president David Adler and is the aviation segment of BrightWater Capital Partners of Chicago. “UAG, in conjunction with Arista Aviation and our other BrightWater entities, builds upon our focus of providing innovative and unrivaled services to commercial, utility, and military operators throughout the world,” Adler said.
