“The rescue helicopter crew provide an amazing service to Hawke’s Bay, and regularly risk their lives to provide this essential service,” said Stephen Salkeld, dealer principal at Bay Mazda Hastings. “We felt that supporting their work by donating a brand new, reliable, vehicle is the least that we can do. We believe in our local community, and are proud to sponsor the good work of this fantastic local charity.”

“We are very grateful to Bay Mazda Hastings for coming on board with this significant donation to the Rescue Helicopter! said Laura Hyde, marketing and fundraising manager. “Because this is a brand-new vehicle, it will mean significant savings to the Trust in maintenance and running costs.”
