ARES technology created out of need

Air Rescue Systems Press Release | March 3, 2016

Estimated reading time 1 minute, 5 seconds.

The latest in rescue technology from Air Rescue Systems, the new patent pending Air Rescue Extraction System or ARES was created out of the need for a lightweight, safe, intuitive and multi-purpose victim extraction device.

The system’s modular design helps increase the speed and ease of patient packaging during helicopter rescue operations.

The Stabilized Lift System, or SLS, makes for easier cabin entry during hoist operations. The SLS makes it easy to adjust the bag position using one of two attachment options to vary the lift support angle and reduce tension on the head and foot of the victim.

The company has included many unique improvements in structural design like easy access to the victim’s arms, allowing attending medics to provide patient care while keeping them securely in the bag.

The head and toe are also fully encapsulated so that victims are sure to remain safely inside during flight.
