M International Press Release | February 23, 2018

Estimated reading time 1 minute, 24 seconds.

M International, a leading provider of aftermarket technical, MRO and supply chain management services for the aerospace and defense industry, has announced its subsidiary Airborne Engines Limited (AEL), specialists in the Rolls-Royce M250 gas turbine engine maintenance and support services, has transitioned from an Authorized Maintenance Center (AMC) to an Authorized Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul Center (AMROC) designation, becoming the latest AMROC member within the Rolls-Royce M250 FIRST Network.

“We are extremely pleased Airborne has made the transition from an AMC to AMROC designation,” said said Rob Ruck, president of Airborne Engines Ltd. “This designation further expands our current M250 support agreement with Rolls-Royce and enhances our service offerings to our customers. The transition from AMC to AMROC now offers two facilities (Airborne and Keystone Turbine Services – Coatesville, Pennsylvania) with similar capabilities on opposite sides of the North American continent, further expanding our support to customers of the M250 series of gas turbine engines.”

“As a Rolls-Royce M250 AMROC, Airborne Engines Ltd. is now authorized to provide comprehensive in-house maintenance services beyond our already extensive reworks capabilities to customers worldwide,” said Darcy McAlpine, director of business development for Airborne Engines Ltd. “We have been diligently working to expand our in-house reworks capabilities with the mindset of lowering customers DOCs.”
