Airborne Engines, Ltd., one of four premier MRO facilities within the M International network, has announced Steve Walford has joined as the company’s new general manager effective immediately.
In his expanded role, Walford will be responsible for all operations within the Delta facility plus formalize his leadership within Airborne Engines.
“I’m thrilled to welcome Steve into the M International family,” stated Rob Ruck, president and chief operating officer of M International. “He’s a long-time industry veteran with great customer focus and keen business acumen who’ll drive further growth and capability expansion – he’s the right guy at the right time to lead Airborne into the future.”
Walford has over 27 years of aviation experience including most recently as the vice president of supply chain for Vector Aerospace. He’s also held senior level positions within the customer support, contracts and asset management roles.
Walford earned a bachelor of science in business management from the University of Phoenix and has led several continuous improvement teams over the past five years. As the newest member of the Airborne team, Walford will be attending the Helicopter Association of Canada’s (HAC) annual convention.
Airborne will be exhibiting at booth #514 where Walford will be present to discuss how Airborne can support all Rolls-Royce M250, Honeywell T53, and P&WC PT6A and PT6T engine, component and accessory needs.
