American Helicopter Museum and Education Center Press Release | October 25, 2019

Estimated reading time 1 minute, 1 seconds.

West Chester’s American Helicopter Museum and Education Center (AHMEC) will recognize and thank veterans and active duty military personnel with free museum admission on Nov. 9 and 10. This offer, sponsored by The Boeing Company, will only apply to the individual service member or veteran during regular weekend hours.

“The Museum appreciates the opportunity to publicly recognize the service of veterans and active duty members of the military,” said Allison Titman, AHMEC’s executive director. “We work with veterans year-round to gather their stories and share them with our visitors. Veterans Day gives us a more public way to reach out and say ‘thank you’ to the broader community.”

The American Helicopter Museum and Education Center, located in the land of industry innovators in the Philadelphia region, is the nation’s premier aviation museum devoted exclusively to helicopters. Established in 1996, the nonprofit organization collects, restores and displays rotary-wing aircraft, including over 35 civilian and military helicopters, autogiros and convertiplanes.
