Sharkeys Helicopters, a helicopter charter company based out of New Hampshire, has utilized the SkyWeb fleet management system from SkyTrac Systems on all six of its helicopters to provide premium service to VIP charter clients and to add to overall safety. When Sharkeys charters a helicopter to a VIP customer, they provide a special one-day logon for the helicopter that will be in service. This allows the customers office to know exactly where the aircraft is in real time.
We want to ensure our clients are able to provide the highest quality experience, and by enabling our client to login and track just the aircraft that their people are on using SkyWeb, they can ensure their guest is taken care of by knowing exactly where they are at any given time, said Sharkeys Helicopters president Roger Sharkey.
According to Skytrac, the service provides the information needed to set up ground transportation, move appointments around and do whatever is necessary to improve a VIPs experience.
We originally envisioned that SkyTrac would provide flight following and satellite communication capabilities, said SkyTrac Systems president and CEO Kathleen Wallace. We have grown and now provide so many more value-added enhancements. We are learning every day from our clients about the unique ways that they utilize our systems. We look forward to seeing how the new ISAT-200A will revolutionize the business aviation market.
SkyTrac will be at the upcoming NBAA 2012 in Orlando, Fla., at booth number 3126.
