CarteNav is a leading supplier of mission system software that enhances situational awareness and improves mission effectiveness across a wide variety of mission types in multiple environments.

The AIMS family of software products is International Traffic in Arms Regulations-free and interfaces with multiple sensor types [camera, radar, searchlight, electronic support measures and others] and combines their outputs into a single geo-referenced picture. The software has recently been extended to include full control and management of a range of airborne surveillance radars.

Multiple air forces are using AIMS, where a single operator at a single workstation can manage the whole sensor suite. For multiple workstation deployments, AIMS is natively networkable, enabling all of the workstations to control the sensor suite and to have access to the common mission database into which all operators can contribute. This network can extend to fixed, mobile, and wireless nodes on the ground as well as in the aircraft.

AIMS also supports pre-mission planning, mission recording and replay. All mission data is recorded to industry standards, enabling the mission to be replayed as if live for briefings, report generation and training activities.

AIMS is the software of choice for government, military, and commercial customers and is deployed in over 30 countries around the world for the efficient and effective delivery of a wide range of missions including intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance, airborne law enforcement, environmental and infrastructure monitoring, and search-and-rescue.

Current deployments for CarteNav products include the United Kingdom National Police Air Service (NPAS), various air forces and special forces, Frontex (the European border management agency), Heliwest and Oil Spill Response Ltd.
