In 2016, the global fleet of approximately 12,000 Airbus helicopters, in service with more than 3,000 operators worldwide, reached 90 million flight hours; helping customers to save lives, protect people and perform the most demanding missions on a daily basis.

Continuous improvement is in Airbus Helicopters’ DNA–and it’s this quality the manufacturer is showcasing at its booth at HAI Heli-Expo 2017 in Dallas, Texas. During the show, Airbus is highlighting its H125 in a law enforcement configuration, the H130 in a corporate version, and an H145 in a police/rescue configuration–as well as unveiling its H135 Helionix demonstrator aircraft. Visitors to the stand will also be able to explore the latest in the company’s support and services offering, as well as experience the next-generation H160 through a dedicated innovation corner.

Airbus has a strong lead in the global civil and parapublic markets, largely due to the enormous success of its hugely popular H125, H135, and H145 families.

The H125 remains the most affordable and customizable light platform, delivering performance and mission suitability. This helicopter outclasses all other single-engine helicopters for performance, versatility, safety, low maintenance and low acquisition costs.

In 2017, Airbus will continue to raise the bar with its Helionix avionics suite. Certified by the European Aviation Safety Agency with its new Helionix cockpit in November 2016, the H135 will now feature a cockpit system with a four-axis autopilot that significantly reduces pilot workload and provides this helicopter with an unrivalled level of safety. After its unveiling in Dallas, Airbus is taking the Helionix-equipped H135 on a tour around the U.S. to visit some of the most demanding customers in North America.

The H145 is a key performer in the airborne law enforcement segment, offering customers a compact helicopter with the highest payload in its class, and the mission versatility to enable police, rescue, surveillance or commando operations.

In the commercial market, the H130 offers the widest payload in its category, making it the ideal fit for multi-mission flexibility. It is a high-performance, multifunctional, single-engine helicopter that provides customers with many operational possibilities, thanks to its powerful engine and wide, flat-floor cabin. Several corporate customers have trusted Airbus’ helicopters to become their air mobility solution for comfort, style, speed, and uncompromised safety.

With its renewed HCare support and services offering, Airbus intends to provide its customers with world-class service, 24/7, anywhere in the world. This ongoing effort has already brought tangible improvements for its worldwide customers, significantly reducing direct maintenance costs for its H135, H130, and H125 fleets, and bringing increased competitiveness over its pay-by-the-hour prices.

HCare aims to bring superior customer support in five domains: training and flight operations, technical support, helicopter maintenance, connected services, and material management. Airbus customer services are located all over the world, supporting customers throughout their aircraft’s lifecycle and providing around-the-clock assistance. The effectiveness of this effort is seen in the results of several industry surveys, in which operators have recognized Airbus as the manufacturer with the most improved support and service behavior and delivery.
