Reports to the Director of Maintenance and keeps him/her updated on the status of company aircraftMust have working and proven track record working on AS350 series aircraft.Coordinates with the Director of Maintenance on aircraft component requirements.Responsible of all inspections, repairs, and component changes are accomplished and documented in accordance with manufacturers or FAA approved procedures. Responsible for compliance with maintenance procedures, airworthiness directives, service bulletins, service letters, and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations. Maintains current knowledgeable familiarity with pertinent manufacturer’s manuals, publications and data including FAA material, FAR’s, Advisory Circulars, Airworthiness Directives and GOM content. Coordinates with maintenance contracting agencies when maintenance activities are being performed on company aircraft. Provides the Director of Operations with the current airworthiness status of the aircraft and the forecast down times to facilitate maintenance scheduling and insure timely correction of aircraft discrepancies. Responsible for necessary work records and logbooks, including certification in the aircraft permanent maintenance records that the aircraft is approved for return to service. Oversees the weight and balance records for all aircraft.Must hold a valid mechanic certificate with airframe and powerplant ratings (A&P license) with no enforcement action. Have 2-3 years experience with the past 6 years maintaining aircraft as a certified Mechanic.
