Aerotek Aviation is looking to hire a Helicopter Avionics Technician who holds an A P license. This client of Aerotek Aviation manufactures and and maintains Civilian Helicopters in Philadelphia, PA. Description: Perform inspections, repairs, service and modifications to the helicopters electrical system.Service, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all avionics systems that perform functions of communications, navigation, collision avoidance, target acquisition, and automatic aircraft flight control systems.Service, maintain, troubleshoot, repair and adjust AC and DC power generation, conversion and distribution systems and aircraft batteries.Perform other duties and fulfill other responsibilities as assigned.Qualifications: 3+ years of aircraft maintenance, 1 year Helicopter experience is required.Knowledge of mechanical and electrical principals as applied to aviation/aircrafts and must be able to use / interpret schematics, diagrams, blue prints and technical publications.FAA Repairmans Certificate OR Airframe License OR A P License required.
