Qualifications Required Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline from an accredited university;At least ten years of experience working directly with complex software architectures;Familiarity with related industry standards, including DO-178B, DO-178C, ARINC 664, ARINC 661;Experience with industry standard and non-industry avionics databases;Some experience with Integrated Modular Avionics, On-Board Maintenance Systems and Crew Interface/Display systems, Flight Management Systems, Navigation Sensors and Flight Data Recorders;Experience developing software toolsets, preferably including qualified tools.Working knowledge of the software engineering life cycles including requirements definition, validation, integration, certification, safety analysis, and verification;Ability to work with local, remote, and cross-cultural teams.Strong oral and written communication skills in the English language;U.S. (Country) Specific Qualifications:Must be legally authorized to work in the United States full-timeMust be 18 years of age or olderMust be willing to take a drug test as part of the selection processMust be willing to submit to a background investigation, including for example, verification of your past employment, criminal history, and educational backgroundQualifications Desired Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems;Demonstrated leadership in advancing the state of the art in a technical specialty;The candidate must be able to live or as a minimum spend a significant amount of time in Shanghai China;Experience using models to simulate and validate complex systems as well as experience with Model-Based design processes is a plus;Experience with other Avionics systems is a plus.
