RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES: - Develop, maintain and coordinate Tashkil personnel and equipment authorizations for AAF logistics functions. - Instruct in the development of air movement plans in coordination with MoD, AAF A4, Aircraft Command and Control Center (ACCC), Operations, and Logistics units.  - Instruct in the development of a variable supply and distribution system that will allow the AAF to support the Vehicle Maintenance Depot, ammunition- related operations and existing general supply and fuel operations that support and sustain the AAF air wings.  - Coordinate interactions, issuances, and requests between U.S. Trainers and the Afghan supply system (for example, MoD Forms 4, 8, 9, and 14), and instruct AAF personnel the processes for submitting and tracking requests through approval and distribution. - Continue the training development of the Afghan supply system, the planned integration for aviation Contractors, and the transition planning for AAF operations. - Manage the instruction for the development and training of the Afghan supply system aviation supply software systems and the MoD system for general supply operations. - Promote training coordination and cooperation between the AAF A4 staff and its staff wings, the logistics ANA Corps staffs and the MoD GS (General Staff) G4 (GSG4). - Ensure the AAF A4 staff interacts closely with coalition advisors on the continued development of the aviation enterprise. - Coordinate with, and assist TAAC-Air, Combined Security Transition Command-Afghanistan (CSTC-A), and future Defense Security Cooperation Management Operations-Afghanistan operations to support cooperation between GIRoA and the US Embassy. - Assists AAF in the effective Tashkil authorizations and assists J-Lead in establishing Tashkil builds or repurposing for AAF organization establishment, management, or dissolution. Coordinates with CSTC-A on AAF Tashkil requirements and ensures compliance with Tashkil update timelines. REQUIRED NATIONALITY: (Applicant must be a citizen of one of the following Countries)US CITIZENS, OR Applicants may apply from -  ALL EU Countries, ALL NATO Countries, Australia, Azerbaijan, Bolivia, Bosnia,Colombia, Croatia, Georgia, India, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Kyrgzstan, Mexico, Moldova, Nepal, New Zealand, Pakistan, Peru, Russia, Serbia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, UAE, Ukraine, Uzbekistan REQUIRED EDUCATION:High school diploma or GED. DESIRED EDUCATION:Bachelor of Science REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Prior Experience in at least one of the following roles: -Intermediate or Higher level maintenance -Developing maintenance manning, training and equipping plans -Developing and maintaining continued airworthiness plans Experience managing  engineering, maintenance, and personnel records Experience with maintenance managment Experience creating unit level manning documents (NATO, US, or equivalent) Experience developing Tables of Organization and Equipment (TO&E), and/or Table of Distribution and Allowances (TDA)  (NATO, US, or equivalent) DESIRED EXPERIENCE:Prior experience as a trainer with the Afghan Air Force (or similar role in another austere location developing host nation capacity) REQUIRED LICENSE / CERTIFICATION:None DESIRED LICENSE / CERTIFICATION:N/A REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:Ability to independently develop and implement a robust and comprehensive maintenance management program for the entire Afghan Air Force Ability to effectively manage limited resourcesAbility to effectively Coach, Teach, and Mentor foreign (Afghan) forcesAble to work without sitting for up to 4 hoursAble to lift and carry 45 lbsAble to pass US CENTCOM Physical Fitness RequirementsAble to pass a non-criminal background check from home countryAble and willing to deploy to and reside in Afghanistan and relocate to other FOBs/ operational areas upon request, to include hostile and austere areasProficient in the use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Willing and able to comply with all theater command policies, regulations and General Orders DESIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:Ability to speak Dari or Pashto
