Jen Boyer
Jen Boyer attributes her helicopter passion to the 1980s television show, “Airwolf.” The basis of the program, a suped-up Bell 222, inspired her to follow her dream of vertical flight, which has lead to more than decade in the helicopter industry, so far. Jen graduated from the University of Oregon, in Eugene, Oregon, with a degree in journalism and was working as a newspaper reporter in the early 1990s when she took her first demo flight in a helicopter.

Garth Eichel
A fixed-wing pilot by trade, Garth has over 4,000 hours of flight time on tundra tires, floats and skis in the Canadian North. He has been involved in both fixed- and rotary-wing aviation publishing in Canada and the United States since the year 2000. Garth lives in Victoria, B.C.

Guy R. Maher
Guy Maher began flying in 1968 and has since logged over 14,000 hours, all in civil aviation. He is a dual-rated pilot, holding an airline transport pilot certificate for helicopters and a commercial pilot certificate for airplanes. As well, he is a certified flight instructor, qualified to teach single- and multi-engine airplane, helicopter, and instrument for both airplanes and helicopters.

Dan Megna
Dan Megna is a deputy sheriff with one of Southern California’s largest sheriffs departments. After 11 years working a variety of assignments including several years with SWAT, Dan had an opportunity to compete for a position with the department’s aviation division. In 1991, Dan was successful in his bid for the slot and within a short time earned his wings as a commercial helicopter pilot.
