Mark IV Luminator, the leader in Transportation Lighting products, is proud to announce the relocation to a new facility after 42 years. This relocation signifies our confidence in our business expansion plans and dedication to providing its employees, customers and associates a state-of-the-art work environment.
Our current facility at 1200 East Plano Parkway is no longer in pace with our product flow, and we have selected a facility two miles east of our current location which is a better match for our manufacturing area requirements as well as our future needs. Both sites are located in Plano, Texas.
All assembly, acceptance and test processes as well as the complete Quality Management System will be transferred to the new facility. We currently hold AS9100B/ISO 9001/2000 Certification through Bureau Veritas Certification (formerly BVQI) and, based on their input, our relocation simply involves changing the address on our Certification document due to the intact nature of our transfer.
The new facility location allows Luminator to retain its most important asset of all, the trained and qualified associates who design, develop, assemble, test and deliver the goods and services our customer have come to know.
In order to insure an uninterrupted flow of products and services, Luminator has a transition inventory plan. There will be no impact to AOG shipment as a result of our relocation.
Our FAA ODAR certification as well as our PMA approvals and Part 43 Rebuild capabilities will transfer to the new facility seamlessly. We have worked closely with the Southwest MIDO 42 group to insure that this relocation can take place with no interruption in our ability to provide Approved Parts.
