ADAC HEMS Academy ‘Flight Training beyond limits’

With the certification of the EC135 EFIS Cockpit on February 23rd, 2012 another milestone has been achieved: all EC135 and EC145 Full-Flight-Simulator variants of the ADAC HEMS Academy are in service now.
At the academy in Bonn Hangelar/Germany, high-quality simulator training solutions are created, with 2 full-flight simulators in a state-of-the-art facility.
Easy to reach via three international airports within less than an hour driving distance.
Enhancing the clients safety and efficiency, there is now an even broader choice to fulfil the training requirements:
EC135 with analogue cockpit
EC135 with digital (EFIS) cockpit and
EC145 (first and only EC145 FFS worldwide)
The international and interactive training center is available for all EC135/EC145 operators, flight training organisations and helicopter pilots, providing an unprecedented level of realism for mission training and offers maximum training and checking credits.
ADAC Air Ambulance, the associate organisation, is the leading EMS operator in Germany, experienced for more than 40 years. With more than 46.000 Missions a year on more than 50 own helicopters EC135, EC145 and BK117 ADAC is a benchmark for international HEMS with specialized Know-how in mountain rescue, winch operation and NVG. 
ADAC HEMS Academy provides tailor made solutions, customized for individual training requests or specific operations.
