Russian Helicopters announces Heli-Expo plans

Russian Helicopters will be showcasing two recent additions to its product line at Helicopter Association Internationals Heli-Expo 2013, March 5-7 in Las Vegas, Nev.
One of these is the eagerly anticipated Kamov Ka-62 with Turbomeca Ardiden 3G engines, which is scheduled for certification in 2015. Another is the Mil Mi-171A2, the latest addition to the bestselling Mi-8/17 family of helicopters.
Russian Helicopters also plans to share details about a new joint project with AgustaWestland during its Russian Hour press conference, scheduled for 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 6 in room N110 of the Las Vegas Convention Center.
During the business section of the conference, representatives of major Russian and international helicopter operators and manufacturers will share their experiences on various topics related to the international operation, service and maintenance of Russian helicopters. This will include a review of Ka-32A11BC firefighting operations in Canada, and the operation of Mi-171A1 helicopters in Brazil.
In the meantime, Russian Helicopters is exhibiting at Aero India, Feb. 6-10 in Bangalore. The company will be showcasing new light and medium multi-role helicopters including the Ka-226T and the Mi-171A2 that will be the principal Russian products for the fast-growing Indian market. Additionally, Russian Helicopters and Rosoboronexport will showcase the Mi-28NE Night Hunter attack helicopter.

It controls the following helicopter industry enterprises: Mil Moscow Helicopter Plant, Kamov, Ulan-Ude Aviation Plant, Kazan Helicopters, Rostvertol, Progress Arsenyev Aviation Company named after N.I. Sazykin, Kumertau Aviation Production Enterprise, Stupino Machine Production Plant, Reductor-PM, Novosibirsk Aircraft Repairing Plant and Helicopter Service Company. It will be presenting at Heli-Expo in conjunction with Helicopter Industry Association, the largest professional helicopter association in Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States.
