120,000th Student Successfully Completes Training at the Bell Helicopter Training Academy

FORT WORTH, TEXAS (October 4, 2011) ” Bell Helicopter, a Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) company, announced that on Friday, August 2, Shannon Halter became the 120,000th student to complete training from the Bell Helicopter Training Academy (BTA). Pictured below, Trey Wade, Director of the Bell Helicopter Training Academy and Charles Fisher, Manager Technical Training for Bell Helicopter present Shannon Halter of United Rotorcraft Solutions a plaque commemorating the milestone. Enrolled in the 407 field maintenance course, Shannon, is a licensed A&P mechanic and currently works in Quality Assurance for United Rotorcraft Solutions in Decatur, Texas.
 
The Bell Helicopter Training Academy is a leader in helicopter training solutions, combining technological advancements and hands-on applications to create safer, more efficient helicopter operations.  In 1946 Larry Bell, himself, commissioned the Bell Helicopter Training Academy to improve overall helicopter safety and expand safety awareness, said Trey Wade, director, Bell Helicopter Training Academy.  We remain committed to that goal and continue to provide innovative training solutions that change the way the world flies.
