Vector Aerospace is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a contract to perform 12-year inspections on three Airbus Helicopters AS350 B3 AStars operated by the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department (SBCSD). Vector will conduct these inspections at its facilities in Langley, B.C., Canada over the next two years. In addition to the AS350 B3 airframe inspections and subsequent aircraft repaint, Vector will also overhaul two Turbomeca Arriel 2B1 turboshafts for the SBCSD at its facility in Richmond, B.C.

Vector Aerospace is in the process of completing a brand-new, 88,000 sq. ft. facility in Langley, which will incorporate new avionics and structures shops plus 65,000 sq. ft. of hangar space. This state-of-the-art building, which will also feature expanded engineering and STC development capabilities as well as a modernized paint facility, will be formally opened during the first half of 2016.
