The aircraft was delivered from Germany to United Rotorcraft for initial assembly and certification flights to obtain the standard airworthiness certificate prior to customizing.
It was delivered with a Full VIP leather interior with Teak look Lon Seal flooring under the wool carpet allowing for quick configuration from VIP to adventure tour operations. The aircraft was configured for single pilot IFR NVG operations as well. The avionics include Garmin 530/430 WAAS, Radar, RAD ALT, DME, HTAWS, Traffic alert system, Flight Cell DZM3 Iridium phone/satellite tracking system, ADF and NAT DACS audio system. This aircraft also has a Honeywell HF 1050 HF radio with towel bar antenna. This is the first installation of an HF radio in an EC145 according to Eurocopter sources.
Airframe modifications include Air Comm Air conditioning, apical floats, LED strobes on the vertical and horizontal fins, DART WSPS, Inlet Barrier Filter system, all windows were replaced with tinted Tech-Tool windows, United Rotorcraft secondary litter provisions, Left and Right side ECMS rappelling fixtures, Cargo hook, ship board tie downs for yacht landings and a first installation of the 140 gallon Turtle Pack auxiliary fuel system for long ferry flights.
The interior is all leather to include the interior panels with enhanced sound proofing. We also installed both 110 VAC and 28 Vdc outlets throughout the aircraft for charging various devises. The exterior is Fire Engine red and white with a custom scheme designed per the customer specifications and applied by United Rotorcraft.
