Ultimate Heli is a world class provider of helicopter services, supplying the safest and the most efficient helicopter charter, helicopter maintenance, advanced helicopter training, utility helicopters and helicopter support worldwide.
The company has announced that it will be operating one Airbus AS350 during the summer season in Antarctica. The helicopter and crew departed from Cape Town harbor on a scientific research vessel in late December 2015 and are expected back in Cape Town in mid April 2016.

The helicopter is being used by scientists to collect valuable scientific information around the Northern and Eastern Antarctica mainland. 
“We are an extensive operator of Airbus Helicopters AS350 and AS355s. This is our second season in Antarctica and we operated over 70 hours in January,” said Shaun Roseveare, CEO of Ultimate Heli. “These operational hours are broken up into over 600 passengers moved and a total of 320 individual under-slung flights with a total of over 1,600 kilograms under-slung cargo carried.”
